I am still wondering how they did it, l was unsure of the results but l need the picture for a family book. I was pleasantly in schock when saw the picture, he looks exactly how l remember him, he was my grand uncle and the picture was taken in 1920. This company was an absolute joy to work with. I was honestly concerned that they wouldn't be able to restore the photo since it was in such poor condition - torn, bent, with the colors all faded out. A few times I asked them to tweak a color a bit, and I was afraid I was being too fussy. But my representative, Natalie, was wonderful and adjusted it until it was absolutely perfect. She kept me informed every step of the way. Within about a week they had completely restored it. This is the only photo I have of myself with all my siblings together, so it means the world to me.
